About Me

Hi there! I'm Terry Tamashiro Harris. I'm passionate about my faith in God and living life on mission, two things I've tried to weave into my career as an author, editor, and publisher of Christian literature. Since 2010, I've had the joy of editing and publishing award-winning Christian non-fiction written by amazing authors. But I've never given up on the lifelong dream of writing fiction. So, after much procrastination (anyone else with me in that?), I'm excited to share my debut novel, Love Remains. My prayer is that this story will bring comfort, strength, hope, and healing to anyone struggling with grief and loss. God truly is there in the ups and downs of life and will meet us wherever we are. I hope this book will reaffirm for you the unwavering power of God's love through life's toughest times.

I've been married to my high school sweetheart, Wayne Harris, since 1989. Together, we've ridden the rollercoaster of life, celebrating our highs and holding tight through the lows. I'm incredibly grateful for the life we have together with God; it is an adventure--and the only times the rollercoaster slows down is that clink-clink-clink up to the top of the next hill. It continues to be an exciting ride! We travel a lot, which I enjoy, but my favorite things are spending time with our three grown kids, taking leisurely walks with our dog, Monkey, and exploring historic homes that spark my imagination and fuel my stories. When we aren't traveling, Wayne and I split our time between our hometown of Ada, Oklahoma, and our homebase in Arlington, Texas.

It's a life filled with love, community, and a constant search for deeper meaning—themes that I weave into everything. Whether through the books I write or the life I lead, I hope to inspire others to see the beauty in their own journeys.
